Peter A. Raskin has provided financial planning services since 1984. As a fee-based Financial Planner, Peter specializes in working with business owners, executives, professionals and individuals to help them gain control and preferential treatment in the areas of wealth accumulation, estate conservation, business succession and charitable gift strategies. Utilizing a planning process that is customized and highly interactive, clients are empowered to make important decisions relative to their estate, investment and retirement planning. Peter helps clients implement these financial planning strategies in collaboration with the client's accountant and attorney.
He graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and received his Master of Science in Financial Services from The American College. He has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) professional designations from The American College and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) professional designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Peter is active in both the financial planning industry and his community. He is past president of the Boston Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and served as a director of the Acorn Foundation, an industry supported charitable organization. Peter has served as a director of the Boston Estate Planning Council. He is past president and treasurer of the Unitarian Church of Sharon. Other community activities include treasurer of the Wayland High School Scholarship Fund and assistant scoutmaster for Troop 95 in Sharon, Massachusetts. Peter is an active volunteer for Volunteers of America - Massachusetts, a national organization serving those in need. He currently serves on the VOA - Massachusetts' Board of Directors.
Peter, his wife Christina and his three children live in Sharon, Massachusetts.
